The cylindrical cartridges for the GCX MultiGas system control a wide range of gaseous organic and inorganic chemicals. Consists of 22 lbs. (9.8 kg) granular activated carbon and impregnated alumina (AC/4 + IA/4). Average filter life is approximately 2 years and 5 months (based on average daily usage). Note that filter life can vary based on actual usage and pollution levels.

GCX Series
The GCX Series air purifier has both HyperHEPA and Acivated Carbon filtration systems, providing full-coverage air quality protection and removing various indoor pollutants including, gaseous emissions, allergens, ultrafine particles, smoke, chemicals, bacteria, and viruses.
The GCX Series has six different fan speeds at six different noise levels, with three sensor-based smart modes and an advanced particle sensor for real-time PM2.5 measurement.
The GCX Series performs at ultra-low noise levels, with the lowest fan setting producing a 25 dB(A) — equivalent to the sound of a whisper or rustle of leaves from several feet away.
The GCX Series air purifier contains three filter layers, each with its own estimated lifespan. The GCX Cartridge and GCX Post-Filter Sleeve have estimated lifespans of 3.5 years, while the GCX HEPA Pre-Filter has an average filter life of two years. Filter lifespans can fluctuate based on the environment the air purifier is housed in and daily utilization.
The GCX Series air purifier is crafted with three separate layers of filters targeting different airborne pollutants, providing full coverage air quality protection. The GCX Series removes both gaseous emissions and particulate matter from the air, capturing common indoor pollutants such as pet dander, dust, pollen, smoke, bacteria, viruses, odors, and invisible gases.
