Arpa Umbria is an institution that deals with prevention and environmental protection. Arpa has public legal personality, with technical-legal, administrative and accounting autonomy and is subject to the supervision of the Regional Council. The mission of the Agency is to provide technical-scientific support to the Region and other Local Authorities in the field of pollution prevention and environmental protection and, consequently, to protect the quality of life and health of citizens through the knowledge of the state of the environment and the pressures that act on it.
