Which cities or areas are affected by the wildfire?

The Jennings Creek Wildfire is most directly impacting:

  • Orange County, New York – Portions of this region, including Middletown, Monroe, and Warwick are affected by the fire’s initial spread and smoke, particularly near the Ramapo Mountains.
  • Ringwood, New Jersey – Located within the affected Passaic County area, and currently facing high fire risks and smoky conditions.

These communities are not under evacuation but are facing smoke, limited visibility, and increased fire risk. In addition, nearby forested and residential areas are seeing displaced wildlife as they escape the fire.
