Ohio Valley Safe Air (OVSA) is a joint venture between two SW Indiana environmental health organizations-Valley Watch and SW Indiana Citizens for Quality of Life (SWICQL). Valley Watch is a long established group whose purpose is, "to protect the health and environment of the lower Ohio River Valley". SWICQL formed to fight a preposterous "coal to diesel" project proposed for the small town of Dale, IN. Together we joined the AirVisual community in an effort to keep check on the "official" monitors operated by the states of Indiana and Kentucky which have proven to be erroneous in the past.
