HAC Agri Limited is a non-listed limited company. It has set up a controlled atmospheric (CA) storage for fruits and vegetables. It came into production in April, 2019. Its CA store is the first of its kind in Pakistan. CA is used worldwide to enhance the shelf life of high-end fruits, vegetables and other food items. Under this technology the shelf life, quality, taste and aroma of food items remains constant by employing automatically controlled atmospheric conditions.
