UK pushing for limits on air pollution to be relaxed, documents reveal

Papers exposed by ClientEarth show that the UK government is pushing for more relaxed regulations on Nitrogen Oxides.

Currently, an estimated 23,500 UK citizens die every year from inhaling NOx emitted by diesel engines. The proposed regulations would allow a 40% increase in NOx emissions from the current legal limit. For more on this story, visit The Guardian.
