Contributor badges are IQAir’s way to appreciate and recognize contributors for reaching special contribution milestones. They acknowledge contributions for making outdoor air quality data available in six categories:

Multi-Station Contributor
Acknowledges a contributor with more than one station -
Follower Favorite
Acknowledges a contributor that has stations with a high number of followers -
Veteran Contributor
Acknowledges a veteran contributor -
99% Uptime
Recognizes contributors whose station(s) have an uptime of above 99% for the last month -
City Pioneer
Recognizes a contributor that put up the first station in a city or town -
Country Pioneer
Recognizes a contributor that set up the first station in a country, region or territory

Badge types, levels, and requirements

Where badges appear
- Public profile: Shows the highest-level badge for each multi-level category, along with all single-level badges you have received.
- Private profile view: In addition to the badges you have already obtained, you can also view the badges in progress and the 99% uptime badges you have missed.
When badges are generated
- Badges are issued at the beginning of every month for the previous month.
