A “Jersey Boys” star shines brighter than ever,
thanks to IQAir’s top-selling air purifiers

photo: Joyce Chittick When singer and dancer Rick Faugno moved from New York to Las Vegas in 2008 to play the lead role in the musical “Jersey Boys” at the Palazzo Hotel, he and his wife figured they left air quality problems behind.

But when Faugno arrived in Las Vegas he soon began struggling with what is known to singers as “Vegas Throat” - bronchitis, sinusitis and laryngitis that often occur in response to the abundant allergens and pollen that blow into Vegas with the desert winds.

“My lead role as singer Frankie Valli in “Jersey Boys” requires my voice to be in the best possible condition, every night,” says Faugno. “Unfortunately, living in Las Vegas, it was starting to look like an impossibility.”

Faugno says both he and his wife were suffering from the effects of allergens. Taking deep breaths became difficult, even at home.

“I had resigned myself to the fact that this is part of living in Las Vegas and I would just have to get used to it,” he says.

Then in early 2011 Faugno began researching air filtration as a possible solution to his air quality problems, at least at home.

“I visited dozens of Web sites and watched many YouTube videos about air purifiers. And I chose IQAir when I realized they have received many more accolades and recognition than any other company,” he says.
